The Culture and Leisure Administration works based on everyone's right to meaningful free time. Culture and leisure are important pieces in a growing Trelleborg, and our work contributes to attractiveness, safety, as well as quality of life and public health.

The workplace The Culture and Leisure Administration is currently undergoing a development and transformation process to play a more active role in the work for a sustainable and attractive municipality.

Within the department of hospitality, association collaboration, and sports, responsibilities include swimming facilities, safety hosts, association support, venue bookings, and sports development.

The Leisure Bank is operated by the municipality with membership in Leisure Bank Sweden and is based on local and long-term engagement. Here, everyone can borrow and return used sports and leisure equipment, promoting spontaneous sports, health, and reuse. The operation also serves as a mediator of the municipality's recreational areas and associations.

In Trelleborg, the Leisure Bank is now being developed by moving to larger and more centrally located premises with increased staffing and accessibility. The goal is to strengthen awareness, increase lending, and become a hub for physical activity. Therefore, we are looking for a business developer who wants to help shape and drive the operation forward together with an engaged team in close collaboration with the associations.

Job responsibilities In the role of business developer, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Leisure Bank. The work includes administration of loans and collections, material care, and ensuring that the equipment is in good condition. The assignment also includes health-promoting and outreach activities in collaboration with other actors, as well as guiding visitors to the municipality's activity and recreation opportunities. The role also involves some supervisory responsibility for staff within labor market initiatives and daily operations.

Areas of responsibility: To develop and steer the operation towards set goals and follow up through statistics, evaluation, and reporting. The work also includes marketing, administration, registration of equipment, and coordination of study visits. The role includes creating an inspiring and service-oriented environment, supporting different target groups, and building and developing collaborations with the municipality's operations, schools, and associations through trial and outreach activities.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - completed high school education - experience in public health issues and/or sports/association issues - experience in leading others - good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have: - experience in development work, planning, and following up on operations, - post-secondary education that the employer deems appropriate, preferably in sports and/or public health - proficiency in languages other than Swedish - experience in mediation, in retail or similar service-oriented operations - experience working with individuals with support needs - knowledge of Trelleborg and its associations - a B driver's license

To thrive in the role, you need to be responsible, structured, and self-driven, with a good ability to adapt to the needs of the operation. You are service-oriented, solution-oriented, and build good relationships through a professional and positive approach. The work is varied and requires initiative, practical problem-solving, and high social competence in meeting many different people.

Conditions Working hours are primarily weekdays, but evening and weekend work may occur.

For work with children and youth, as this position involves, a police record extract must be presented before employment.
